Discussion

High pressure will slide off the east coast by later tonight and then a warm front will move through the region early tomorrow and this will be followed by a cold frontal passage by early Friday. Milder air will move in from the southwest ahead of the cold front and temperatures tomorrow will jump well into the 50’s. Colder air returns on Friday behind the cold front and the weekend promises to be quite cold with afternoon temperatures holding in the low-to-mid 40’s, but it’ll be dry both days. Some modification in the cold air mass will occur on Monday as temperatures climb to near 50 degrees.
