Discussion
A cold front will approach the region later today and it will increase our chance for showers; especially, during the afternoon hours. The front moves off the east coast by early Friday and colder air will return to the Mid-Atlantic region on brisk NW winds to close out the week. In general, high pressure will control our weekend weather; however, low pressure just to our south late Friday night may throw some clouds our way and maybe even a shower or two. Another frontal system will approach our region late Monday into Tuesday increasing our odds for more showers by Tuesday.
