Discussion
A potent Arctic front whipped through the region early this morning and strong wind gusts of 40-50 mph will continue right through the afternoon hours. Temperatures dropped after the frontal passage and should hold relatively steady in the 30’s for the rest of the day. A reinforcing cold front will pass through Saturday night and the cold weather will continue right into the early part of next week. A brief warm up will occur on Tuesday, but then another strong cold front will pass through by Wednesday and the second half of next week looks quite cold.
