Discussion
Low pressure is gathering strength to our southwest and will bring on a decent rain event here from late tonight into early Friday. Total rainfall amounts by noon Friday will likely be in the half to one inch range. The weekend will start off rather mild, but will gradually turn colder with the coldest air moving in during Sunday evening. On another topic, the solar storm that bombarded the Earth with radiation yesterday has subsided ending our slim chances for viewing the northern lights.
