Discussion
The cold air that contributed to the severe weather outbreak in the Midwest and South on Friday will reach its peak today and tomorrow here in the East. Temperatures will be some twenty degrees colder to start the week compared to the high temperatures reached here on Saturday. A significant warm up, however, will begin on Wednesday as temperatures approach 60 degrees and we should enjoy temperatures way up in the 60's on Thursday. A cold front will slowly work its way through the area on Friday and it’ll turn cooler for the weekend. Longer term, as far as the overall weather pattern is concerned, it appears as if there is nothing but warmth here in the East right through at least the middle of the month.
