Discussion
The same old crazy weather pattern continues here with late night and early morning fog, afternoon brightening skies and the occasional "backdoor" cold front. Today's early morning clouds and fog will once again give way to partial sunshine and temperatures should jump well up into the 70’s. Tomorrow will be another warm day; however, a "backdoor" cold front should slip through the region and begin a downward trend in temperatures during the afternoon hours. This change to cooler weather that begins later tomorrow will then continue over the upcoming weekend. Showers will break out on Saturday, and a thunderstorm can be mixed in as well, and temperatures will continue to trend downward with highs on Saturday in the low-to-mid 60's. Even cooler weather is probable on Sunday and more showers are likely to close out the weekend before it dries out and turns milder again on Monday. One final note - NASA postponed last night's scheduled rocket launches at Wallops Island, VA until late tonight due to low clouds and fog along the coast.
