Discussion

Let the games begin! Opening Day forecast for the Nationals in Chicago: mostly sunny skies, breezy and cold with game time (2:20pm) temperatures around 45 degrees. The Orioles open up in Baltimore tomorrow afternoon at 3:05 pm and skies should be sunny along with breezy and cool conditions, game time temperatures in the upper 50’s. Widespread Canadian high pressure to our north will dominate the weather scene around here today through the upcoming weekend. The air mass associated with this high is rather chilly and that will be quite noticeable during the nighttime hours, but daytime sunshine will push afternoon temperatures to 60 degrees during the weekend. There are indications that it’ll turn even colder by Tuesday of next week and that cold spell may last a few days as a deep trough develops in the eastern US.
