Discussion
A storm system to our north will pinwheel around over the next couple of days and, from this position, will send chilly air into the Mid-Atlantic. In fact, temperatures should average below normal for the next few days before milder air returns this weekend. It actually can get just cold enough for snow showers to occur in the higher elevations of western Virginia and West Virginia over the next couple of days. As far as precipitation is concerned, while a shower can occur at just about anytime from this afternoon into Thursday, the vast majority of the time will be rain-free and precipitation amounts would be on the light side.
