Discussion
High pressure will temporarily edge northward into our region today, but we’ll then have more frontal systems to deal with over the next several days. To begin with, the threat for showers will increase early on Thursday as a warm front approaches the area from the south and then a cold front should arrive tomorrow night. After the front passes through the region, it’ll stall out not too far to our south and once this west-to-east boundary zone becomes established, it’ll allow areas of moisture to ride along it over the weekend, but it is a little too early to tell if that moisture will make it this far north.
