Discussion
The low pressure area that has been spinning its wheels to our north and east in recent days has gradually weakened and is pulling away from the coast. This action will allow for high pressure to now build into the Mid-Atlantic region from the Midwest for the upcoming weekend. Temperatures will climb well up into the 80’s from today through the early part of next week. A cold front will approach the Mid-Atlantic from the west late Tuesday and Wednesday and this will enhance our chances once again for showers and thunderstorms during the mid-week time frame.
