Discussion
A large area of moisture that had its origins over the tropical Pacific Ocean has made its way across the southern states and is now moving towards the Mid-Atlantic region. Today will feature and increase in clouds and showers and possible thunderstorms will threaten from tonight through Wednesday and it'll become quite warm and humid for the next two days. It’ll stay pretty warm on Thursday and Friday as well, but overall humidity levels should drop some from those mid-week values. A strong cold front that will sweep across the nation this week is then likely to pass through our region by early in the weekend and that will begin a cooling trend with the return of below normal temperatures.
