Discussion
The powerful and slow-moving storm that affected the Mid-Atlantic region with significant rainfall - and even some accumulating snow - is finally pulling away from our region this morning. The weather will improve noticeably this afternoon throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and tomorrow will turn out to be quite a nice day. The weather will, however, become somewhat unsettled for the second half of the week.
Another area of low pressure will move through the Great Lakes region at mid-week on its way to eastern Canada and its associated cold front will pass across our region early Wednesday. The front is then forecast to stall just south of the area later this week. Another low pressure system emerging from the Rockies and moving northeastward toward the Great Lakes should first bring its warm front through the region by Friday with its cold front passing through the region early Saturday.
