Discussion

An area of low pressure will move by to our north today and drag a cold front through the region. There is an area of moisture associated with the frontal system and indeed rain will move into the region during the mid-morning hours and continue into the early afternoon. This front will then stall to our south and waves of low pressure will ride along the stationary frontal boundary zone over the next couple of days. As a result, the threat for showers will resume later tomorrow and continue on Friday, but the weekend is looking pretty decent from this vantage point. Another system is likely to bring more rain to the region later Monday and it could be significant.
