Discussion

A frontal system has stalled to our south and this boundary zone will act as a conduit for moisture to ride along into our area during the next couple of days. While there can be a shower or two at the end of the afternoon, the steadiest rain is likely to arrive this evening and continue in the overnight hours and some of the rain can be heavy at times. Once that batch of steady rain passes by, additional showers will be possible later tomorrow and tomorrow night as a cold frontal system pushes towards the east coast. Once this cold front clears the coast early in the weekend, the overall trend will be for clearing; however, that break won’t last too long as another moisture-laden system will arrive with significant rainfall later Monday or Monday night.
