Discussion
A frontal system has stalled to our south and this boundary zone will act as a conduit for moisture to ride along into our area during the next couple of days. While there can be a shower or two late today, the steadiest rain from this next batch of moisture will fall tonight and some of the rain can be heavy at times. Occasional rain or drizzle is likely on Friday and Friday night as well as a cold frontal system pushes towards the east coast. Once this cold front clears the coast early in the weekend, the overall trend will be for clearing; however, that break won’t last too long as another moisture-laden system will arrive with significant rainfall later Monday and Monday night. This early week storm threatens the Phillies home opener on Monday afternoon.
