Discussion

Low pressure headed our way from the Gulf of Mexico will bring a soaking rain to the region today and tonight and there can be a thunderstorm or two mixed in. Temperatures will stay on the cool side today as there will be a flow of air off the still-cool Atlantic Ocean. Once the low pulls away on Tuesday, there will be clearing skies and milder conditions in the Mid-Atlantic region. Wednesday will be on the cool side with a stiff NW wind, but it’ll turn milder again later in the week and, at this vantage point, the weekend looks quite mild and dry.
