Discussion

Low pressure headed our way from the Gulf of Mexico will bring a soaking rain to the region from later this morning through much of tonight. The rain will come down heavily at times right through the evening hours and there can be a thunderstorm or two mixed in. Once the low pulls away on Tuesday, there will be some clearing skies for much of the day and noticeably milder conditions in the Mid-Atlantic region. However, Wednesday will turn out quite a bit cooler along with a stiff NW wind, but it’ll turn milder again later in the week and, at this vantage point, the weekend looks quite mild and dry.
