Discussion

Low pressure is pulling away from our region this morning and today will feature clearing skies with an increasing wind and milder conditions. It’ll stay relatively mild and dry for Wednesday and Thursday, but then a frontal system should bring some shower activity as we close out the work week. After possible clouds early on Saturday, the weekend should turn out to be quite pleasant with dry and mild conditions.

Looking ahead, colder air is likely to arrive into the eastern half of the country by the middle of next week at the same time a coastal low pressure system could ride up the east coast. The end result could even be snow for some of the higher elevation interior locations of the Northeast U.S. (e.g., Appalachians).
