Discussion
Today will turn out slightly warmer than yesterday, but there will also be the chance for some afternoon and evening shower/thunderstorm activity in much of the Mid-Atlantic region north of the PA/MD border. This activity should diminish overnight as high pressure builds into the region. This high pressure system will set us up for another decent weekend with comfortable temperatures and humidity levels although a shower cannot be completely ruled out for Saturday. It’ll turn warmer on Monday with temperatures climbing to 80 degrees in most I-95 corridor locations and then a frontal system will enhance the chance for more shower and thunderstorm activity by Tuesday.
