Discussion
Clouds will dominate the skies today and this will cut temperatures a bit from yesterday and rain is likely later this afternoon into the evening. After a damp beginning, Wednesday will feature some clearing and temperatures will be quite mild in the afternoon with temperatures climbing towards the 60 degree mark. Much colder air will move into the Northeast US on Thursday anchored by strong high pressure and temperatures will turn noticeably cooler. It’ll stay quite chilly on Friday and another batch of moisture from the southern states will advance northward towards the I-95 corridor. The result should be rain by Friday night and continuing into Saturday and it could be just cold enough at the onset for some sleet or snow to be mixed in.
