Discussion
Clouds will dominate the skies today and this will cut temperatures a bit from yesterday and rain is likely to develop late this afternoon and continue this evening. Wednesday will feature some afternoon clearing and temperatures will be quite mild with temperatures climbing well up into the 50’s. Much colder air will move into the Northeast US on Thursday anchored by strong high pressure and temperatures will turn noticeably cooler. It’ll stay quite chilly on Friday and another batch of moisture from the southern states will advance northward towards the I-95 corridor. The result could be rain by Friday night and continuing into Saturday and it could be just cold enough at the onset for sleet or snow to be mixed in.
