Discussion
Winds will increase noticeably today and shift to a southwesterly direction and this will usher in much milder air that will stick around on Friday as well. While the milder conditions will be accompanied by dry weather today and some sunshine, tomorrow’s warmth will be less enjoyable as it will come with occasional rain and perhaps a thunderstorm or two ahead of the next cold frontal system. Low pressure will form along the frontal boundary zone and this will enhance the rainfall tomorrow night and showers could then linger into early Saturday morning before pulling away. Cooler air will return to the region following the frontal passage for the upcoming weekend.
