Discussion
Winds will increase noticeably today and shift to a southwesterly direction and this will usher in much milder air that will stick around on Friday as well. While the milder conditions will be accompanied by dry weather today and plenty of sunshine, tomorrow’s warmth will be less enjoyable as it will come with occasional showers and perhaps a thunderstorm or two ahead of the next cold frontal system. Low pressure will form along the frontal boundary zone and this will enhance the rainfall tomorrow night and showers could then linger into early Saturday morning before pulling away. It'll be much cooler on Saturday afternoon compared to today and Friday and also quite breezy. Sunday should feature some sunshine and temperatures should reach well into the 50's during the afternoon hours. At this point, Opening Day for the Phillies on Monday (3PM) looks pretty decent with some sunshine and high temperatures near the 60 degree mark.
