Discussion
A strong cold front is approaching the eastern states and low pressure will form along the frontal boundary zone later today and generate a soaking rainfall in the Mid-Atlantic region. Occasional showers today will evolve into a steadier rainfall by tonight and there can be a thunderstorm or two mixed in late in the day or tonight. Temperatures will stay on the mild side today, but then cooler air pushes into the region for Saturday following the frontal passage. Showers can linger into the early morning hours on Saturday, but skies should clear some during the afternoon although it’ll remain quite breezy. Both Sunday and Monday look relatively nice with decent temperatures for this time of year and dry conditions.
