Discussion
Low pressure will ride along a boundary zone into the Mid-Atlantic coastal region over the next 24 hours or so and produce some rainfall along the way. It appears the steadiest, heaviest rain associated with this low pressure area will stay south of the NYC metro region. Once the low pressure pushes off the east coast, high pressure will build back into the region and the weekend will turn out quite nice with comfortable temperatures and humidity levels.
