Discussion
Near-record warmth is headed to the Mid-Atlantic region for the upcoming weekend. After a mild day on Thursday, a warm front will cross the region later Friday and its passage will usher in even milder air for both weekend days with near-record warm conditions. It’ll stay mild on Monday and there is the threat for some shower activity, and then cooler air should return on Tuesday. Looking ahead, there will be a pattern change as we progress through the second half of the month with one cold shot arriving in about a week and then this is likely to be followed by additional cold shots during Christmas week.
