Discussion
High pressure pushed in from the north yesterday and the nicer weather will hold on for another day in the NYC metro region. Clouds will return tonight and showers are likely on Friday as a cold front approaches the I-95 corridor. Thunderstorms can also mix into the picture tomorrow in the Mid-Atlantic region with the next front. A secondary cold front will arrive later Saturday and bring with it another round of showers and perhaps a thunderstorm. Behind that second cold front, much cooler air will push into the region for Sunday/Monday and overnight low temperatures will drop to the 30’s in some suburban locations.
