Discussion
High pressure pushed in from the north overnight and today will be a much nicer day than recent days with sunshine and warm conditions. However, clouds will return tonight and showers are likely late tonight and Friday as a cold front approaches the I-95 corridor. Thunderstorms can also mix into the picture on Friday in the Mid-Atlantic region. A secondary cold front will arrive late Saturday and bring with it another round of showers and perhaps a thunderstorm. Behind that second cold front, much cooler air will push into the region for Sunday/Monday and overnight low temperatures could drop to the 30's in some suburban locations.
