Discussion
Low pressure area is sliding up along the Mid-Atlantic coastline today providing us with more unsettled weather featuring clouds, residual showers and maybe a thunderstorm or two. After a bit of a lull at mid-week, the latter part of the week may feature strong surface low pressure near the Mid-Atlantic coastline. This storm system will likely spin around for a couple of days (Thursday/Friday) as deep upper-level trough forms along the east coast in a classic blocking “omega-shaped” flow pattern in the upper part of the atmosphere. Once this storm system finally pulls away this weekend, it'll turn warmer and the weather will improve noticeably.
