Discussion
Low pressure still persists across southeastern Canada and it is helping to keep temperatures around here pretty close to normal for this time of year. Later this week, the frontal system that stalled to our south may return to increase the chances for showers and thunderstorms in this region. The weekend will feature high pressure across the Northeast US and low pressure will try to form near or along the Southeast US coastline. For now, it appears the high pressure system will win out around here this weekend, but we may have to watch for low pressure to back in towards the Mid-Atlantic coastline by early next week.
