Discussion
A cold front pushed through the region late yesterday and building high pressure will assure nice weather today with plenty of sunshine, comfortable temperatures and lowering humidity levels. Unfortunately, the high will quickly depart and low pressure with its associated frontal system will head our way on Thursday from the Ohio Valley bringing rain and thunderstorms to the Mid-Atlantic region. Some of the rain on Thursday can be heavy and some of the thunderstorms can reach strong-to-severe levels. The good news is that high pressure will return at the end of the week and we should enjoy another nice weekend in the DC-to-Philly-to-NYC corridor.
