Discussion
High pressure pushed off the Mid-Atlantic US coastline late yesterday and the result will be a southwesterly flow of air in the lower atmosphere and this should boost afternoon temperatures to near 60 degrees. This warm up will be brief, however, as the next cold front will drop through the region by early tomorrow dropping our high temperatures some ten degrees between this afternoon and later tomorrow. It’ll stay on the chilly side for Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) and Friday before milder air pushes in on Saturday just ahead of the next cold front.
