Discussion
High pressure has pushed off the Mid-Atlantic coastline and this will allow for lower atmosphere winds to turn to more of a southwesterly direction and pump in somewhat milder air compared to the past couple of days. This warm up, however, will be rather brief as another cold front drops through the region early tomorrow and this frontal passage will set the stage for a colder Wednesday and a chilly Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) and Friday. It may turn slightly milder again on Saturday just ahead of the next cold front and there could be a rain shower, but then temperatures will drop some following the frontal passage to end the weekend.
