Discussion
High pressure has pushed off the east coast and the result will be a shift in low-level winds from the northwest-to-southwest. This type of air flow will bring milder air to the Mid-Atlantic region and highs during the next two afternoons could actually approach the 60 degree mark in the DC metro region. A cold front will slide through the region by Thursday and we’ll turn cooler again for the end of the week.
