Discussion

High pressure will continue to control our weather today and provide us with another very warm day and plenty of sunshine. A frontal boundary zone will approach the Tennessee Valley late tonight raising our chances for showers and thunderstorms after midnight and that threat will continue on Friday as well as and some PM storms can be on the strong-to-severe side. The weekend is shaping up to feature improving weather conditions and Mother’s Day might just turn out to be a very pleasant day.
