Discussion
High pressure in the eastern half of the nation will continue to provide us with very warm conditions over the next couple of days and highs not far from the 90 degree mark. The threat for showers and thunderstorms will stay with us through the rest of the week and weekend, but the greatest chance is likely to hold off until Sunday at which time a strong cold front will approach the region.
