Discussion
The cold front that passed through the region on Monday has stalled just offshore and low pressure will ride along its boundary zone over the next 24 hours and generate more showers in the region later today and tonight. Upper-level low will then intensify over the Northeast US by Thursday and will likely produce more rain here from late tomorrow into Thursday. The weather does improve on Friday as we end the work week and it should be quite nice to start the holiday weekend; however, showers threaten for Sunday and Monday.
