Discussion
The hottest week of the summer so far continues into the weekend with highs today and Friday in the middle 90’s. The upper part of the atmosphere is still rather dry and this will inhibit showers and thunderstorms for the next couple of days, but chances for some activity will increase this weekend. As far as relief in the heat and humidity is concerned, a frontal passage is likely to usher in some relief for northern Alabama during the early part of next week.
