A trof of low pressure near the east coast will feature a disturbance rounding its base dragging a cold front through the region. As a result, the daily chance of showers and thunderstorms will continue for the next couple of days and temperatures will likely hold in the 80’s for highs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday following the passage of the cold frontal system.
