Discussion
A cold front is pushing through the region at this time and its passage will usher in much more comfortable air for the rest of the week. In fact, as strong Canadian high pressure expands eastward from the Great Lakes region into the Northeast US, we’ll experience nice weather right through the upcoming weekend and into the early part of next week. Elsewhere, the tropics are quite active and one system could have a major impact on Texas and Louisiana over the next several days with tremendous flooding potential and another one is likely to produce heavy rainfall along the Southeast US coastline from Florida to North Carolina.
