Heavy rain fell in the overnight hours and there will be more significant rainfall today into tonight resulting in the potential for some serious localized flooding issues across eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. Strong low pressure will pull up to our west today and warmer air has surged northward along the eastern seaboard with spring-like temperatures near the 60 degree mark as we begin the day. The threat for rain will continue into the overnight hours as a strong cold front works its way through the region. Colder and drier air will arrive by early Saturday riding in on strong NW winds and Sunday will feature some sunshine to along with cold conditions, but the winds will be far less noticeable. An upper-level disturbance will arrive in the Mid-Atlantic region on Sunday night sparking some snow shower activity and there can be minor accumulations by Monday morning.
