Discussion
A strong cold front pushed through the region on Thursday and ushered in more unseasonably cold air for the region. Temperatures today will be confined to the mid-to-upper 50’s for highs which is way below-normal for this time of year and winds will continue to be quite strong out of the northwest generating lower wind chill values. The weekend will be decent with dry and cool conditions prevailing as high pressure moves into the Northeast US. Looking ahead, there is the chance for a strong low pressure system to develop near the Mid-Atlantic coastline by the middle of next week and this could lead to another significant rain event for the region.
