Discussion
A strong cold front pushed through the region on Thursday and ushered in more unseasonably cold air for the region. Temperatures today will be confined to the lower 50’s for highs which is way below-normal for this time of year and a NW breeze will generate lower wind chills. The weekend will be decent with dry and cool conditions prevailing as high pressure moves into the Northeast US. Looking ahead, there is the chance for a strong low pressure system to develop near the Mid-Atlantic coastline by the middle of next week and this could lead to another significant rain event for the region.
