Discussion
Low pressure will move slowly over the next couple of days from the Gulf region to the Mid-Atlantic coastline and this will result in a soaking rain event around here. Rainfall amounts from later today into Wednesday will likely end up in the 1-2 inch range in the DC-to-Philly-to-NYC corridor. Another low pressure system and its associated cold front may affect the region with more rain at the end of the week.
