Discussion

A weak cool frontal system will come to a halt in the Tennessee Valley in its movement to the south and east and this will lead to unsettled weather over the next several days. As a result, there will be the threat for showers and thunderstorms around here through the weekend; especially, during the afternoon and evening hours. Temperatures should climb to 90 degrees for the next couple of days, but could be confined to the upper 80’s for highs over the weekend. The annual Perseid meteor shower peaks this weekend so the potential unsettled weather could result in unfavorable viewing conditions.
