Discussion
A strong cold front is passing through the region early today with lingering clouds, but it’ll pave the way for a nice break in the action from the recent very wet weather pattern here in the Mid-Atlantic. Winds will increase noticeably today from a northwesterly direction and the humidity levels will drop sharply today from recent days. High pressure building over southeastern Canada should be strong enough and close enough to produce decent weather around here through much of the upcoming weekend. More showers and thunderstorms will likely return to the region on Monday and Tuesday and temperatures each day may approach the 90 degree mark for highs.
