Zonal flow aloft (i.e., west-to-east) will develop today and Wednesday across the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys with high pressure building at the surface. This type of flow of air will diminish somewhat our chances for showers and thunderstorms for the next couple of days, but temperatures should have a relatively easy time of it reaching or surpassing the 90 degree mark for afternoon highs.
