Discussion
The current stretch of wet weather in the Tennessee Valley will last right through the upcoming weekend and into the first part of next week. An upper-level trough of low pressure will stick around for the next few days and it won’t weaken until the early part of next week. As a result, some spots will receive several inches of rain over this wet stretch on top of already well-saturated grounds and drier weather looks like it’ll have to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.
