Discussion

There is a chance for some snow around here later tomorrow afternoon and evening as low pressure forms over the Ohio Valley and heads towards the Delmarva Peninsula coastline. Temperatures will be borderline for tomorrow’s system in terms of rain versus snow, but odds favor mainly snow in the metro region and nearby suburbs - perhaps on the order of a coating to an inch or two. In the wake of the system, anther cold air outbreak will make it into the region at mid-week, but the new chilly air mass will be gone by the end of the week and upcoming weekend which should turn noticeably milder and wet.
