Discussion
Today will be a windy and unseasonably chilly day in the NYC metro region along with a mix of sun and clouds. The much colder-than-normal conditions will continue through tonight, but then temperatures will modify noticeably tomorrow afternoon and it’ll remain seasonably mild this upcoming weekend. Strong low pressure will bring more rainfall to the area on Saturday night and Sunday morning and this system will be followed by a cool air mass for the beginning part of next week. Later next week, a big time warm up is likely in the eastern states as strong high pressure ridging builds eastward and 80+ degrees is on the table in parts of the Mid-Atlantic region.
